RELATED: Stray: Adorable Things The Cat Can Do

Thankfully, the size of the flat makes solving the puzzles inside relatively straightforward, though players may still need a helping hand from time to time. Completionists will also want to keep an eye out for the Chapter 3 scratch point, which is needed to unlock the “Territory” trophy in Stray.

How to Complete Chapter 3 of Stray

Immediately after entering the flat, players should head through the beads and into the main living area. Those hoping to unlock the “Territory” trophy should take a moment to scratch the rug in front of the kitchen sink, after which, they’ll want to head over to the computer on the far side of the room. Walking around on the keyboard for a moment will type and send a message, and doing this three times will unlock the metal door behind them.

The aim of this next room is to turn on the big computer, which can be done by finding four hidden energy cells and placing them into the sockets on the far wall. By pulling the lever on the right, players will be able to grab one of the cells from the front of the moving terminal and can then climb onto the terminal itself to reach another one up on a shelf. The third cell is on another shelf on the opposite wall and the final one is on the far side of the desk in the center of the room.

Plugging in all four energy cells will reveal a secret room behind the bookshelf, inside of which players will find a dead robot next to a strange metal tank. By jumping onto the robot and then the tank, players will be able to get up onto the shelf on the left side of the room. Once there, they can press Triangle to push the drone box onto the floor and then hop down and pick up the drone, again, by pressing Triangle.

After picking up the drone from the ground, players should return to the big computer and place the drone onto the device next to the golden cat statue. This will result in a computer AI being installed onto the drone, and, from here on out, B-12 will serve as a a somewhat unconventional companion character of sorts.

Once the cutscenes are over, players should follow the B-12 drone over to the corkboard and grab the door key from the wall. They’ll then need to get the charging jacket installed, after which, they’ll be able to leave the flat via the front door. Doing so will require them to use the key they just picked up by selecting it and pressing the Square button after first interacting with the lock.

Outside the flat, players will find themselves in a dark hallway, where they will be prompted to use B-12’s Torchlight mode by pressing left on the D-Pad. Doing so will enable them to find the number 3748 on a painting in the room on the right, and typing this door into the keypad next to the door at the end of the corridor will grant them access to the world outside.

In the next area, players should hop inside the bucket and ride it down to a rooftop down below. Here, seeing the beach mural on the wall will trigger one of B-12’s 27 missing memories, with players also getting the postcard at this time. Another bucket ride later will drop players into an area that’s infested with Zurks, so they’ll need to quickly run forward and through the gap in between the buildings to reach The Slums and the fourth chapter of Stray.
